Landlord’s Self-Help Centre

Landlord’s Self-Help Centre is a non-profit community legal clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario. It operates with a mandate to provide information and support services for landlords and homeowners on a non-profit basis. Staff educate members of the community in landlord and tenant relations. Additionally, LSHC provides summary legal advice, information, referrals and educational materials, exclusively to small scale landlords across Ontario. LSHC’s services are meant to help landlords understand their rights and responsibilities as housing providers. LSHC is also involved in law reform activities aimed at improving the regulatory and operating environment for small landlords.
