Reporting a steady interest from residents inquiring about creating secondary, or accessory, apartment units in their homes, Glenn McGlashon, the director of planning and development for the Town of Cobourg, said that, while the town’s approved Official Plan currently permits second units, the implementing zoning bylaw pertaining to them has yet to be enacted.
